When a guard fails to arrive at a guard station within a specified time frame, it is immediately reported to facility security personnel. Automated annunciation is important when alarm information may save lives or property. Wireless camera and wireless CCTV allows the installation of cameras in locations previously inaccessible. Duress alarms are sometimes called panic alarms and use a portable or fixed duress button or panic button. With automated annunciation, the central computer will say the alarm in computer generated English and broadcast this over the facilities two way (2 way) radios.
